1. Who we are

Rionna is a shared racehorse ownership club based in Ireland. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have under GDPR.

2. What we collect

When you become a member we collect:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your payment details (processed and stored by Stripe — we never see your card number)
  • Your notification preferences and app usage data
  • Content you post inside our Circle community

3. How we use it

We use this data to:

  • Provide you with membership access, race updates, and push notifications
  • Process your subscription payments
  • Keep the community safe and moderated
  • Send you transactional emails (welcome, news notifications you've opted into)

4. Launch waitlist

The details of the data controller for the waitlist will be added here once the club entity is confirmed.

If you join the Rionna launch waitlist, this section applies to you.

  • What we collect: your first name, last name and email address, the page or link you signed up from (for example a press or race-day link), and the date and time you gave consent, along with the version of the consent wording you agreed to. We don't store your IP address.
  • Why: to email you when the Rionna app launches. We won't use your details for anything else, and we won't send you any other marketing.
  • Lawful basis: your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the waitlist form.
  • Who processes it: we send the launch email through Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.), which stores and processes your name and email address on our behalf. Mailchimp is based in the United States, so your details are transferred outside the EEA under the safeguards in Mailchimp's data processing agreement.
  • How long we keep it: we delete the whole waitlist 6 months after we send the launch email. If you become a member in the meantime, your details are covered by the rest of this policy instead.
  • How to withdraw: use the unsubscribe link in any email we send you, or email us (contact details are on the Contact page). We'll stop emailing you straight away. Withdrawing doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew.

5. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email us to exercise any of these rights — contact details are on the Contact page.

6. Changes

We'll post any material changes to this policy on this page and, where appropriate, notify you in-app.
